La Seine

Travel responsibly and sustainably

The former Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation Church in Havre-Aubert has been renamed La Seine and transformed into a performing arts venue. La Seine (Au Pied des Demoiselles)—a name that is a homophone of the French word scène (“stage”) and also refers to a long fishing net—is a unique space dedicated to artistic research, creation, and presentation. Thanks to its remarkable architecture, excellent acoustics, and state-of-the-art equipment, it offers an exceptional setting for performances and events. The venue can accommodate up to 420 spectators and hosts a wide range of live arts disciplines, as well as conferences and community celebrations. Box office opens on-site two hours before each performance. Light snacks and refreshments are available on site.
