The Bout du Banc Ride is much more than just an excursion: it's a magical escape at the edge of the world, an intimate encounter with the sea and the wind. At the far end of Havre-Aubert lies a rare and precious place, accessible only to the curious who dare to venture there: Bout du Banc. This hook-shaped beach, sculpted by time and tides, stretches between sky and sea, where the currents brush and blend in a silent dance. In the distance, Entry Island stands watch, majestic, while the waves whisper ancient stories. Every breath of salty air, every glimmer on the water, composes a natural symphony you won't soon forget. Aboard a large open and welcoming trailer — pulled by a rustic tractor and handcrafted by Clermont Poirier — you'll experience an adventure that is both authentic and soothing. The ride is offered year-round, by reservation, with a minimum of 10 adults required to set the journey in motion.
La Balade du Bout du Banc gives you the chance to visit a very exceptional and unique scenery, hardly accessible by foot, called «le bout du banc» (the end of the bank). This hook-shaped beach is located at the end of Havre Aubert where two currents intersect at the end of the point of sand. The bout du banc offers you a beautiful scene as well as a breathtaking view of Entry Island, all accompanied by the soft music of the sea. This magnificent stroll takes place with a tractor pulling a comfortable and open large trailer, built by the owner Clermont Poirier. His spouse, Josée Décoste will be your guide and will charm you with her beautiful little stories and explanations regarding the formation of this beautiful beach.
