Fifty-five years after the arrival of the Manic, it is fair to say that tourism in the Magdalen Islands now has its own history—so much so that we can revisit the slogan and say, “In the Islands, it's NOT the same anymore!” Together, we will look at how tourism has left its indelible mark on the destiny of an archipelago lost in the middle of the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
