Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine's Spring contest has a winner

Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine's promotion team announces the official closure of its spring contest entitled Discover the accents of the Îles de la Madeleine and expresses great satisfaction for the success attained by the event.

The 2013 edition of the contest has changed to target the cultural theme. Close to 22,500 contestants put their names in for a chance to win a grand prize valued at 2,438 dollars. One of those names was drawn on the morning of July 2, and Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine is pleased to announce officially that the prize has been won by Jacynthe Raymond, from Val d'Amour, NB. Mrs Raymond has won a trip for two on the motorcoach of Autobus Les Sillons, five nights at Château Madelinot, with a 3-day guided tour to discover more about the cultural aspects of the archipelago. This will be the first trip to the Îles de la Madeleine for Mrs Raymond.

This year, the contest was promoted directly to the 78,000 subscribers of the Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine newsletter and through the various social media, as well as a few external media, such as Québec Vacances.

Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine wishes to offer sincere thanks to its key partners - Autobus Les Sillons and Château Madelinot - as well as to each and every participant in the contest.
