A group of alumni from the Collège Sacré-Coeur in Bathurst, New Brunswick got together last week on board the C.T.M.A. ship  N.M. Le Vacancier for a cruise to the Îles de la Madeleine. Conceived by Mr. Fernand Doucet, a graduate of the school, the project was obviously a resounding success, as more than 200 individuals answered the invitation. 

The alumni sailed from Montreal on Friday, September 16th, to enjoy a reunion cruise along the St. Lawrence River to the archipelago, where they docked last Sunday.  With joyful hearts and in a party mood, the graduates of the Collège Sacré-Cœur spent three days with us before weighing anchor for the return trip to Montreal.  

The formula chosen by the Sacré-Coeur group is part of a new marketing plan conceived in partnership with Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine, the Groupe C.T.M.A, the Château Madelinot  hotel and the Club Vacances Les Îles.  Its objective is to attract annual and corporate events to the Îles de la Madeleine.
