Proposed itineraries

The port of Cap-aux-Meules is located in the centre of the village that bears its name. Cap-aux-Meules is the economic hub of the archipelago, and most of the businesses and government offices are nearby. Many services are within easy walking distance of the port: restaurants, boutiques, the hospital, pharmacies, a car rental agency, a convenience store, a laundry, an Internet café, a bicycle rental service, banks, etc.

The Îles de la Madeleine is the ideal place to stroll around and really relax. Take a walk along the main street and get a look at the daily life of the Madelinots. Along the way, you will pass by boutiques, cafés, restaurants, fish shops, bakeries and much more. On your return trip, take the marked coastal path (le Sentier du littoral) that follows the cliffs and headlands right to the port. A staircase at the end of the path takes you to the top of the Cap-aux-Meules hill overlooking the village and the port.
