Tourisme Iles de la Madeleine unveils the winners of the 2014 edition of the regional Grands Prix du tourisme québécois

Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine has announced the winners of the 2014 edition of the Grands Prix du tourisme québécois. The event, which was held at the Tourist Information Centre, served to highlight the efforts and dynamism of businesses in Les Îles. The worthy winners were selected by a panel of three judges: Lucien Presseault, General Manager of Caisse Desjardins des Ramées; Jeannot Gagnon, Director, Land Use and Local Development of Les Îles de la Madeleine; and Richard Leblanc, Business Advisor at the Local Employment Centre of Les Îles de la Madeleine. 2014

Award-Winners are:

- Agritourism and local products: Fromagerie du Pied-de-Vent

- Accommodation (40 to 149 units): Auberge Madeli

- Tourist attractions (more than 25,000 visitors): CTMA

- Tourist Services: Le Bon goût frais des Îles

- Human Resources - next generations - Tourism: Jessica Leblanc, director, Leblanc Car Rental

- Human Resources - Tourism Supervisor: Stéphane Gaudet, Pursuer, CTMA - Vacancier ferry

- Human Resources - Tourism Employee: Geneviève Joyal, Le Bon goût frais des Îles
