Boat

Ferry boat between Souris (P.E.I.) and the Magdalen Islands

For boat travel to the Îles de la Madeleine, there are several possibilities. There is a daily ferry service to the Islands from the town of Souris on Prince Edward Island. Please note that this service is now available year-round. There is also a weekly ferry-cruise that can be taken from Montreal or from Chandler, in the Gaspé Peninsula.

Entry Island is the only inhabited island in the archipelago which cannot be reached by road. There is a daily ferry service to and from this island.

Several different cruise companies now include the Îles de la Madeleine on their Canada/New England cruise itinerary. We invite you to visit our section Cruises to learn more about it.
