  40th SAND CASTLE COMPETITION ! Build your most beautiful sandcastle at the Magdalen Islands Sandcastle Competition! The largest amateur sandcastle contest in the world invites you to experience a magical virtual weekend from August 7 to 9, 2026. In addition to the contest, the event presents several artists, workshops, games, musicians and local producers. Take part in this sandblasted euphoria by forming YOUR own team of builders and join this unmissable event. By a jury, several scholarships and enticing prizes will be awarded to the builders on Saturday, August 8. Registrations are FREE for all categories!
