Sable et verre de la Côte Est

East Coast Sand & Glass is your one-stop shop for everything that is authentic and handcraft. We use the sand from our charming (or alluring) archipelago to make our jewelry, ornaments and various home decorations and each of the artwork is labelled to the beach where the sand comes from. While browsing our beautiful beaches in search of small natural treasures, we also collect rubbish in order to revalue them in useful and decorative objects. This is how we offer you wine or beer glasses, candles, vases and much more to be discovered in our boutique. The bottles thus collected are scored, cut using torches and then modelled according to the creativity of our master glassmaker. Sandblasted with the image of our archipelago, each piece is unique and versatile. Every art piece purchased from us helps support our annual beach cleanup! Each find on our beaches allows us to create a treasure just for you! Driftwood and seashells go for the making of our candles; sea glass for our jewelry and for our floor mat, we collect leftover rope from our lobster fishing season. We do our best to upcycle whatever mother nature washes ashore, so the waste of some becomes the treasures of others. Don't like shopping? How about learning more about the rich history of walrus hunting on the islands? Visit our small walrus tooth museum. These were found many years ago in Old Harry Bay. We hope to see you at our boutique located in the beach house at Grande Échouerie.
