Lobster trap launching and the arrival of Lobster Nouveau!

From May 3, 2008 to July 5, 2008

The launching of lobster traps into the ocean begins on a precise date, the first or the second Saturday of May. For the Year 2007, the date are the May 5th. Early in the morning, in every harbour of the Islands, more than 325 boats set out to sea with their traps. It is in Grande-Entree that you must witness the benediction of the boats. Festivities for this event are held very early in the morning, always a Saturday. Come and taste the Lobster Nouveau! Packages available.
