This section suggests four different cycling circuits you can explore. Along the way you will be able to admire the region's majestic scenery, meet local artists and artisans, come upon many pristine golden sand beaches, choose from an extensive variety of excellent restaurants featuring regional products, ), stay over in cozy lodgings and much, much more. Those with a taste for fine foods can plan a gourmet tour and meet our producers and restaurant owners whose career is devoted to cultivating, transforming and revealing the deepest, most flavourful secrets of fine Madelinot foods and products. No matter what their performance level, cyclists can look at the suggested itineraries and plan their own, made-to-measure adventure. Don't forget to check the wind direction before you mount up !

Biking Tour around Bassin

Havre Aubert Island

Bike through one of Québec's most beautiful villages! The coast road takes you all around the western end of the island. This panoramic route runs by a number of distinctive architectural ensembles, including the church and presbytery at Bassin, and the Anse à la Cabane lighthouse standing proud atop its red cliffs. There are plenty of hills and valleys along this road to keep serious sport cyclists happy. When the wind is coming from the south-west, it is wise to take this circuit in a counter clockwise direction.

Every turn of the wheels brings you ravishing new views of this traditional township. This most charming circuit winds through areas where old-style homes cling tightly to bare hillsides. Two connections from the Route verte (199) link up to this circuit.
