Besides the 100 km stretch along the main road, a network of secondary roads that are ideal for cycling criss-crosses the Îles de la Madeleine. When completed, the Route verte will wind through all the islands, from one end of the archipelago (Havre-Aubert) to the other (Grande-Entrée). Some work still has to be done on paving, about 20 kilometres of shoulders, before the Route verte can be fully operational, but that doesn't matter at all! On the islands, there are thousands of ways to get off the beaten track.

Local businesses supply discovery packages and circuits for visitors as well as bicycle rental, maintenance and repairs. A shuttle service is available for bikes and passengers from La Grave Historical Site and/or Grande-Entrée Point, depending on wind direction.

Autobus Les Sillons

Shuttle service for cyclists and their bicycle from / toward both extremity of the Islands regarding the wind direction toward / from centre of the Islands. This service is available in collaboration with the Group CTMA and is offered on Sunday and Monday. For other days of the week available on request.
