Travel responsibly and sustainably

Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine is extremely proud to launch its blog!

Îles de la Madeleine, #fousdesiles, falaise, fleurs, coucher de soleil, mer

The team is very pleased to unveil its new blog project, which aims to share authentic experiences about the daily life of islanders. It is a personalized and humane way of connecting with the Islands lovers and the ones who want to get to know them — through the eyes of inhabitants.

The #fousdesiles blog is also a way to discover and rediscover the Islands as seen by permanent residents. Whether "pure Madelinots" or "new Madelinots," everyone has a unique experience on the Islands. While sharing what drives them, and what they are passionate about, our bloggers provide posts regarding their unique perspective on insularity.

Stay tuned during the upcoming weeks to discover who are our bloggers, as well as many interesting and diverse subjects!

About the #fousdesiles strategy
The #fousdesiles strategy complements the promotion efforts of the destination and takes action for a third consecutive year. The goal is to promote the authentic lifestyle of Madelinots through their island reality. While sharing unique experiences about the archipelago, both Madelinots and visitors are invited to use the hashtag #fousdesiles for anything regarding "nature," "flavours" and "culture," which are the main themes promoted by Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine. Aside from the ambassadors (Isaac & Annie), the summer contests on Instagram and the numerous advertising measures, we now want to introduce the #fousdesiles blog as part of the strategy for 2018.
