Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine, Le bon goût frais des Îles de la Madeleine and Arrimage are pleased to launch the 4th Edition of their gourmet spree Folle Virée gourmande. Showcasing restaurants that celebrate local and terroir products, as well as the archipelago's unique take on food and cultural tourism, the event features an exciting calendar of thematic gourmet evenings.
For this 4th Edition, nine restaurants will join forces with producers, visual artists and artisans to serve up a wide range of singular experiences held over a three-week period. Festivities will start on June 15 with L'effet boeuf!, a feast for the eyes and the palate hosted by Restaurant Les Pas Perdus. This year's wild gourmet spree will conclude on July 4 with the Sur le «pousse» soirée at La Salicorne Restaurant. The complete program is available on Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine's Website.
Given the success of previous editions, it is recommended to contact local restaurants directly for quick reservations. It's a safe bet that places will fill up fast... and in the blink of an eye!
To prolong the pleasure, Le bon goût frais des Îles de la Madeleine also invites foodies to a meet-and-greet with chefs and artisans during the 14th Edition of Fête aux saveurs de la mer, to be held July 5 and 6, 2014 at the Place des gens de mer.
