In February and March 2005, the C.T.M.A. Group will offer a week-cruise in cold water along the St-Lawrence Golf. This cruise will include a 4-day and 4-night stay at the Îles de la Madeleine and will be chance to discover a large variety of winter activities in a unique and enchanting way!
The M.V Vacancier will leave Matane, in Gaspesia, for a first crossing on Saturday the 19 of February 2005. Other departures for this cruise will occur every subsequent Saturdays, for those month of February and March. The last departure for Îles de la Madeleine will be on 19 of March 2005. About the departures from the Îles de la Madeleine, they will occur every Thursday morning.
The package includes cabin, meals, interpretation activities and shows on board, onland transfers, 4 nights at the Chateau Madelinot or at the Club Vacances Les Îles, guided tour of the islands, planning for meals and optional activities as well as the possibility to live a unique cultural exprience: carnaval activities, "Mi-Carême", and heaps of activities wich will provide a warmly contact with the Madelinots.
Optional range of activities will also be available to offer the possibility to discover more beauties of the archipelago: hiking or doggsledding, sea kayaking or zodiac excursions through the ice field, withe fishing, "cabarouette" ride, winter camp in a Yourte tent and seals watching excursion on ice field by helicopter.
More over, a variety of sliding sports such as an introductory traction kite flying course or kiete skiing. Everything for the most enthusiasts for sensational experiences!
This offer is possible because of the collaboration of all the different partners in wich are the C.T.M.A. Group, the Château Madelinot, the CLub Vacances Les Îles and Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine.
So, either for it's nature or culture, Îles de la Madeleine is a paradise in winter as well!
